Ideally located and opposite a little piece of nature with a relaxing park/reserve.

Offering a breakfast and lunch menu with dishes that appeal to all palates both young and old. The inclusion of kids meals is great for families with young mouths to feed.

The lunch menu offers a selection of flavoursome dishes including pork sausage roll, fish cakes, quiche of the day, crispy duck pancakes and their signature dish ‘The Pig & Pastry’ beef burger.
The cafe has a rustic feel with long communal benches for gatherings with family or friends, as well as two seater tables for couples. Al fresco seating is also available and overlooks the local park/reserve.

I visited the cafe mid week for lunch with my sister. We ordered the quiche of the day with a side serve of rustic chips.

The quiche had great texture with a light and savoury filling of artichoke, mushroom, ricotta cheese and sundried tomato. The side serve of iceberg lettuce drizzled with sweet mustard and garnished with fresh herbs was refreshing to see.

The cafe was a full house filled with locals who happily enjoyed their flavoursome meals whilst conversing amongst family, friends, partners or work colleagues.

They cater for casual dining experiences for breakfast/lunch as well as functions including birthdays & weddings.

The service is attentive, friendly and prompt with minimal wait time. We were served by a young waiter named Alex, who was a pleasure to deal with.

So if you are a foodie living in Sydney/just visiting, then make sure you visit this rustic cafe for a relaxed casual dining experience. The handmade breads, pastries and wholesome dishes are sure to tantalise and delight your tastebuds.
